Cop and Handyman Cousin Falsified Repair Bill
Updated: 6 days ago
Newly obtained dashcam video from District Heights is raising concerns about a local cop and his repairman cousin. Sources tell DBlastMedia that Sergeant Ronald Govan arranged for his cousin Sean Fritz to inspect a police truck's faulty emergency lights. It took Fritz less than five minutes to locate a misconnected wire and restore the lights.
That was not welcomed news to Govan who told Fritz to unfix it. Govan remarked, I want to get you money. Fritz can be seen on video disabling the lights, which sidelined the truck.
According to one source, the pricey quick fix was added to an invoice for a different date. The same source told DBlastMedia that vehicle equipment problems soared for almost a year as Govan increasingly contracted out more work to Fritz. Govan is the District Heights Police Department's fleet manager and evidence custodian. No action has been taken against him so far.
